The Hill Center, in Durham, North Carolina is an independent school that is jointly accredited with Durham Academy by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. It is also approved by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction as an “alternative” school for children with learning disabilities.

The Hill Springs Learning Center is seeking accreditation independency through the National Association of Private Education Centers. To achieve this vision, Hill Springs has conceived a strategic plan that builds on past strengths, current opportunities and the synergistic relationship among the school's academic programs, research and outreach activities.

The faculty of HillSprings are members of the International Dyslexia Association, Colorado Council for Learning Disabilities, and the National Center for Learning Disabilities.
