The Hill Center, in Durham, North Carolina is an independent school that is jointly accredited with Durham Academy by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. It is also approved by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction as an “alternative” school for children with learning disabilities.

 The HillSprings Learning Center is applying for candidacy for membership to the Association of Colorado Independent Schools. The accreditation of member schools by ACIS is recognized by the Colorado Sate Board of Education. ACIS is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools.

The faculty of HillSprings are members of the International Dyslexia Association as well as the Learning Disabilities Association.
